No. Anyone can refer. Past clients, friends, family, neighbours, anyone in your network.
Once the property you referred has settled with the Martinuzzi Group. Not at listing, and not at exchange. Settlement.
Send it through anyway. Once we have logged your referral it stays valid for as long as the program is running, however long it takes them to be ready.
As many as you like. Each successful referral earns its own $1,000.
The reward goes to whoever’s referral reached us first. That is why we confirm every referral in writing on the day we receive it.
Only yourself, or a property you part own. Everyone else is fair game.
FULL TERMS
1. Who can refer
Anyone can take part. You do not need to have bought or sold with us before.
You cannot refer yourself, or a property you own or part own.
2. Making a referral
Before sending us someone’s details, please let them know you are passing them on and check they are happy to hear from us.
Referrals can be sent through the form on this page, or by text, call or email. All are treated the same.
Send us the referral within three months of making the introduction.
3. Confirmation
We confirm every referral in writing, by email or text, on the day we receive it. That confirmation includes the date we logged it, and it is the record we work from if any question comes up later.
4. How long a referral lasts
Once we have logged your referral it stays valid for as long as this program is running, however long it takes them to be ready to sell.
5. When the reward is paid
The reward is paid once all of the following have happened: the person you referred has appointed the Martinuzzi Group under a signed agency agreement, their property has sold, and the sale has settled.
Settlement is the trigger, not the contract date and not an unconditional contract.
6. The reward
$1,000 AUD per successful referral.
You choose either a prepaid gift card, or a donation of the same amount to a registered charity of your choice, made in your name. We will ask which you would prefer at settlement.
There is no limit on how many people you refer. Each successful referral earns its own $1,000.
7. If more than one person refers the same seller
One reward is paid per referred property. Where more than one person refers the same seller, it goes to whoever’s referral reached us first, based on the date on our written confirmation.
8. Disclosure
Where a listing comes to us through a referral, we disclose that to the seller in their agency agreement paperwork.
9. Your privacy and theirs
We use the details you give us to contact the person you referred and to administer this program. We do not pass them to anyone else.
If the timing is not right for them, we leave it there.
10. If the program ends
This program is ongoing with no planned end date. If we do decide to close it, we will give 30 days’ notice.
Referrals submitted in the final three months before that notice remain valid for the rest of their original three month window. Referrals on file beyond that window become void from the date the program closes.
11. Changes
We may review these terms from time to time. Any change applies from the date it is published and does not affect referrals already logged with us.
